HYCOM RTOFS – Forecasted Eastward Ocean Currents (u-component) – June 16, 2025 00:00 UTC to June 17, 2025 00:00 UTC

This NetCDF file contains the eastward (u component) of ocean current velocity, forecasted by the RTOFS (Real-Time Ocean Forecast System) using HYCOM. The dataset was initialized on June 16, 2025, and contains 3D forecasted current velocities at 33 depth levels across a global domain. Data is provided at approximately 0.08° spatial resolution and includes coordinates for latitude, longitude, depth, and time. Units are in meters per second (m/s).
