HYCOM-TSIS GOMb0.01 2D Sea Surface and 3D Vertical Profile Variables Data.

This dataset [1/100º (~1km)] provides hourly data for both sea surface and vertical profile ocean variables in the Gulf of Mexico. The sea surface data includes variables such as wind components, sea surface height, surface mixed layer thickness, and vertically averaged barotropic velocities, interpolated to a 1/100º resolution to capture fine-scale surface features. Additionally, the vertical profile data spans 40 fixed depth levels, including temperature, salinity, and velocity components (u, v, and w_velocity), detailing the vertical distribution of ocean properties throughout the water column.
