The GOFS 3.1 dataset provides global ocean forecasting data generated by the Naval Research Laboratory, covering 80°S to 90°N at high spatial and temporal resolutions. Data assimilation incorporates various in-situ and satellite observations to enhance forecast accuracy. GOFS 3.1 is an operational system running daily, providing a nowcast and up to a seven-day forecast.
