This NetCDF file contains instantaneous forecasted ocean current velocities — both eastward (water_u) and northward (water_v) — on a 0.08° global grid with 40 vertical depth levels. The data was generated using the ESPC-D V02 HYCOM model, experiment 03.1, and initialized at June 18, 2025 12:00 UTC.
